These are some of the more successfull silver crystals I have managed to grow. I am going to work a few of these into finished jewellery. I have got some gold crystals in the pipeline but they are so far unsatisfactory.

very interesting, did u ever get around to growing gold crystals?? through my business and meddling in chemistry I sometimes produce gold chloride, I have once using a redox reaction with mercury made very sharp but small gold octahedrons, was thinking about ramping it up a bit and trying to make bigger ones with electrolysis, but have not got around it it, though it might start with copper or silver first (as you have done) to get some practice in first..
